The TrafficCast International technology platform is currently focused on data processing, analysis, fusion, and simulation; with a subsystem for data and information dissemination. This platform for centralizing and synthesizing data analysis includes a series of proprietary processes, software and models for data filtering, data enhancing, geo-coding, information coding, data fusion, and traffic models.

The Company developed a homogenous national database of flow and incident information. Comprising 450,000 miles of roadways, about ten times the length of the Interstate Highway System, TrafficCast International pulls data from every expressway and major arterial in the country. The database includes 3 million individual links (trip segments). In addition to deep relationships with state and local DOT's to gather this data, TrafficCast International also converts the roadway camera images to traffic flow data.

From its comprehensive database of traffic information, TrafficCast International's software can forecast trips from start to finish along intercity routes; no one “drops off” when they leave town. Moreover, the Company's database is uniquely designed to integrate all sources of digital data, including new technology like cellular and GPS probes. Based on this network, TrafficCast International has developed an extensive set of analytics and data fusion techniques to create an array of applications that operate seamlessly across the US . Rather than simply passing on traffic incident data, generally obtained from public sources, TrafficCast International technology and analytic model emphasizes travel times, the key to supporting most personal travel applications.
