ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute)

ESRI has been the leading developer of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software with more than 300,000 clients worldwide. As a business partner, TrafficCast International has been selected as the first traffic information service provider to ESRI's ArcWeb Services, where instant access via the Web to real-time traffic information is now available. ArcWeb Services consist of GIS content and capabilities delivered over the Web, enabling users to access dynamic maps, determine the locations of street addresses, generate routes and multilingual driving directions between multiple locations, find nearest real-time events, discover information about a location, specify projections, upload user-defined points of interest for geocoding, and more. Developers can include these capabilities and content in their applications without hosting the data or developing any GIS applications themselves, resulting in significant savings of development time, expense, and computer resources.
