real-time application. Dynaflow includes both
detected traffic speeds for sensored road segments
and simulated traffic speeds for non-sensored road
segments, reflecting dynamic impacts of historical
flow, real-time flow (3 – 10 minutes latency),
and traffic impact from incident, construction,
special event, and weather condition.
Benefits:
• Currently, real-time sensors,
detectors, and probes cover less than 7% of all
major roads in the US . The data gap remains huge
in the foreseeable future.
